DJ Headphones - Hugh selection of headphones for DJ's found online

I am more of a rock and roll man myself but recently I was asked to do some research for a young friend of mine regarding DJ headphones. This is because my nephew received a set of decks for his birthday and wants to spend the rest of his birthday money on some headphones so he can make the most of them. As a DJ you will of course want headphones so you can monitor what you are doing but I think his parents will also be grateful if he can listen to trance and house music with the headphones on and any external sound turned right down!

However, as is it is often the case with teenagers that they decide they are going to be next superstar DJ/sports star/actor/musician then just as quickly go off the idea I also thought it important not to spend a ridiculous amount of money on state of the art goods that could in the end just lie in his bedroom gathering dust.
